We were out walking this summer and came upon a coyote and I got a picture but it was a cell phone camera so you got lots more detail than I did.
Hi Tanna - If there is ever a reason to get an SLR, this is it. It didn't help that it was blizzarding.
Hi Sally - I haven't been here in awhile (truth: I haven't been ANYWHERE for quite awhile). I'm so glad you have cardinals - aren't they fun? We have one or two pairs that hang around here and I just love to see them. They are especially brilliant against the snow.

So glad to see he came back...maybe they wil stick around for you! We have a couple of pairs around our neighborhood...Josh and I love them! We have one male that sits in the trees or on the neighbors antenna and sings his heart out for us! He's usually the first to greet me with my cup of coffee under the gazebo each summer morning. We even talk to one another sometimes....sounds like he's saying pretty, pretty, pretty, so if we repeat it back in the right tone, he'll sing it again for us! We love our redbirds!
Glenda: Damn woman - I'm jealous! Bettina says she sees them over at the shop. With this much snow, they've probably widened their range for food and that's why I finally got them.
Well, if you come down and spend some time with me in my yard sometime, I'll share! We'll have coffe or cocktails...your choice!*grins*
