Hoar Frost

Sometimes Mother Nature awards you with beauty when you least expect it. I awoke to frost covered trees this morning and tried to get a picture or two of them.

So pretty!
So, what are YOU doing for Super Bowl Sunday? We'll be watching the game/ads at the Pony this afternoon. I'm bringing 7 Layer Taco Dip and chips. What did you eat today? Whatever it is, I hope you all have a great time at your Super Bowl parties.

Watching the game by my lonesome. Taking your advice and getting rest. Drinking lots of tea. Hubby - who still doesn't understand football - is working today, so I don't have to explain the difference between first and third down, tight end and quarterback and why Gisele loves Tom. Good game so far.

Love those photos, especially the birdy feeder!

Ummm . . . I think it was close to 80 here today. Way to warm for me.
Your snow looks beautiful and I love the bird feeder tea pot!!

OK girls - that's a bird HOUSE, but TY anyway. LOL The wrens love that thing. I just read that we have a major storm moving our way, so expect more snow pictures. I REALLY need to get an SLR camera. It was a great Super Bowl, the food was awsome, we had a good time. So...what ARE sweet-heat jalapenos Sandi?

Great pictures! Looking a wee bit cold though.

Actually Terri - compared to January, it's positively balmy here. It even got up to 36 degrees yesterday! Heat wave - LOL.

Your photos are beautiful. We had hoar frost Sunday also - I had to drive to the airport to pick Mark up from a business trip and it was positively beautiful. He was pooped from a week-long tradeshow - so I ended up reading a book during the game and catching the commercials the next day on the net. It was about as exciting as New Year's Eve - LOL! I think you are getting way more snow this year than we are.

Hi W.G. - Thanks! I really love that thing too.

Hey Kris - We really have had a lot of snow this year. We did miss the 12 inches (!) that Des Moines got on Monday - thank God!!
