I have a friend who says the very same thing. If you drink, don't drive or blog. She can be pretty funny too. As to the butternut squash enchiladas: I had one for some time, thought I should use it. I thought I'd seen a recipe for such, couldn't find it, so I winged it. I'll do it a bit different next time but I'm going to try it again and blog on it. Time however puts me at a disadvantage as travel is going to be big in the next several months. We'll see when I get to it. Really glad you enjoyed the shrimp in the backyard, it really is a fun idea.
Oh, have you not seen WARNING When I am an old woman I shall wear purple With a red hat which doesn't go and doesn't suit me. And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter. I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells And run my stick along the public railings And make up for the sobriety of my youth. I shall go out in my slippers in the rain And pick the flowers in other people's gardens . . .
The ending of the poem pleases its readers when the woman says . . .
But maybe I ought to practice a little now? So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple. find the book @ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0285634119/104-1657744-2457558?v=glance&n=283155

Sally, I am Tanna's friend who has gotten in trouble by posting when I have been drinking wine! And we have just had a good laugh reading your post again! I know how you feel. I have limited my RSS feeds to about 7 or 8 (and have just added yours-- oh my , I am getting out of control)! I told Tanna I couldn't handle any more because I wanted to have a life and read, etc. and she called me a "chicken"! So I understand how you feel!!
No - I mean, I haven't seen that poem, or book, or whatever it is. I HAVE seen ladies here in town with red hats on tho. They're quite a sight! LOL Thanks so much tanna.
Hi Sue, nice to meet you! I have over 50 on my feeder but like I said I only regularly read about 10. There are so MANY MANY talented people out there! It amazes me. Thank God for the internet (and RSS feeds)! LOL (or should I thank Al Gore? LOL)
